Since the first BB’s Coffee & Muffins café opened in Australia over 20 years ago, high standards, freshly prepared food, value for money, quality, choice and friendly service have been some of the key factors contributing to the BB’s success story.

Our philosophy is unique and straightforward.

We locate our BB’s Coffee & Muffins cafés in high footfall areas where customers want them and we are the only retailer in the UK & Ireland that has been focussing solely on shopping centre locations. As a result we have achieved a good level of brand awareness throughout the country.

By locating in only high footfall areas we eliminate the competitive fluctuations that are common in high street locations where an unlimited number of competitors can open nearby. Thereby creating an instant ‘captured’ audience to whom the BB’s Coffee & Muffins brand can be delivered.

Our product offer is also unique to us. Our hand mixed muffins and freshly filled baguettes are prepared and baked daily in all of our cafes and will always be sold that same day and our freshly ground premium coffees, indulgent smoothies and milkshakes will be made specifically to order.

Support

The cornerstone of our BB’s Coffee & Muffins franchising concept is it’s comprehensive support network. We will provide you with the operational and management tools you will need to achieve and maintain maximum productivity and profits.

We consider training to be of paramount importance. As a new BB's Coffee & Muffins franchise partner, you will receive comprehensive and ongoing training, to ensure you and your team can deliver the highest quality products and services to your customers which will be fundamental to the success of your business.

The initial training course is a competency-based programme conducted at our BB’s Training Academy and in total you will be asked to complete a 5 week training programme before full operational approval is given to operate your store.

We will provide you with the support network from our preferred BB’s Coffee & Muffins shopfitting partners who will deliver the highest standards in terms of shopfit and finish. This will ensure that your own time can be focussed against completing your operational training and the recruitment and training of your new team.

We will also provide you with support in terms of the preparation for your store opening and guide you with your first orders from our approved supply chain network.

During your first week of trading we will also help you settle into your store and ensure that the skills acquired in training are successfully put into practice.

Essentially our franchise partners are provided with a turnkey operation and the security of belonging to a well-managed retail brand.

The Process...

 

Step 1 : Apply
Complete and submit the on line franchise enquiry form.

Step 2 : Meet
You will be contacted by one of our Franchise Recruitment Managers who will arrange to meet you preferably on site at a BB’s Coffee & Muffins location.

Step 3 : Investigate
Visit our BB’s cafés and talk to our existing franchise partners about their experiences.

Step 4 : Review
Discuss financial issues and legal documents with your professional advisors. Our BB's Franchise Sales team can help you with a banking introduction.

Step 5 : Commitment
Once you have decided to join our franchise network you will be asked to pay a deposit.

Step 6 : Location and site selection
Our BB's Franchise sales team will work with you to identify a suitable location for your store and provide floor plans for your specific location.

Step 7 : Join our BB’s Team
You will be asked to sign your Franchise Agreement and Sub-Lease and pay 50% of the Franchise Agreement fee. You will meet key members of our management team to plan your store opening and you also be asked to achieve Basic Food Hygiene certification.

Step 8 : Training
You will undertake a 5 week training course covering every facet of your business and upon completion and subject to final operational approval you will be asked to pay the balance of the Franchise Agreement fee and remaining investment.
