Diskids Ltd. was established in 2004, specialising in educational music for preschool-aged children. Started by a kindergarten teacher with a Creative Education degree, a teacher with a BA in Education and Linguistics and a qualified team of professional musicians and musical arrangers, Diskids has found success. The company creates custom-made professional, educational quality CDs for your child.

What We Do

Diskids offers every kid 8 unique, personalized songs, with the child’s name mentioned at least 11 times during the song. The company also puts educational content into the songs, such as learning the ABCs or the names of colors, eating habits, etc. With a variety of different musical styles, children are also exposed to music.

Suitable for children 0-7 years old, they will generally be a perfect match for infants to preschoolers.

The Opportunity

Franchisees have three options for franchising with Disk Kids UK.

Option One

The first is paying a one-time fee of £5,000 for the franchise. The franchisee will get a computer with our special software to create the CDs. They will also get some advertising to explain the product to customers, including posters, balloons and the ability to purchase blank CDs with the special Diskids UK special DVD case, featuring our design and names of the songs printed on the case. Additional CDs will cost £1.80, and will include the case and greeting card.

Along with the franchise package, one of our experts will help set up the franchise from day one, showing him how to operate the system and the technical aspect of sales.

Option Two

The second option buys you the franchise, but the blank CDs are more expensive. For £4,000, you’ll pay £2.10 for a CD.

Option Three

The third option requires a payment of £3,000, with the blank CDs costing £2.40.

The Earning Potential

After running two months of promotions in the UK in October and November 2007 in eight different shopping centres, we found out that if we sell each CD £9.99, we’ll be able to sell between 25-40 CDs per day.

So if the franchisee pays for a retail merchandise unit in a shopping centre for £1,000 per month and works only 26 days a month, selling approximately 20 CDs per day, they will make £5,400. With rent costing £1,000 and CDs costing around £1,000, the franchisee will be able to pocket about £3,400 per month.

In a maximum of two months, a franchisee can gain back their investment!
